Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) is set to spread its wings to two more cities in Sabah via its latest RB Link services starting October.
The national carrier will begin serving Sandakan on October 28 and Tawau on November 11 with promotional fares starting from RM265.
The announcement of the added RB Link destinations was made by RB’s Chief Commercial Officer Martin Aeberli at a press conference and agents briefing held in Kota Kinabalu recently.
“Kota Kinabalu is RB’s first Malaysian destination which we operated on the very first day of operations in 1975. To date, Sabah still remains as one of our most popular destination with our guests from all around our network. Thus, we’re extremely excited to expand our services to Sabah with two more destinations under our RB Link Service,” said Aeberli.
RB began operating RB Link services connecting Brunei with cities in Borneo on July 31 and newly announced its flights to Bintulu and Sibu last week.
Present during the announcement were Sabah’s Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment William Baya and Acting Consul General of Brunei Consulate in Sabah Mohd Asulhamhaidi Hj Md Ashrane.
