The Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (MEMI) is calling for all Halal industry players to join its Brunei Halal Showcase (BruHas) 2019, a five-day event scheduled to start from November 11 at Bridex Hall, Jerudong.
BruHas is a yearly event organised by the ministry to promote awareness on the developments of Halal industry in Brunei and its contribution to the nation’s economy.
Besides being a platform for businesses to promote their products and services, the showcase also aimed at giving industry players, government authorities and members of the academia more insight on how they can contribute well to the industry’s growth.
Besides an expo featuring a diverse range of businesses, BruHas this year will also be featuring the 4th International Seminar on Halalan Thayyiban Products and Services (SAPPHAT IV), a business matching session and the BruHas Halal clinic.
The 4th International Seminar on Halalan Thayyiban Products and Services (SAPPHAT IV) will bring together local and international academia, relevant government agencies and industry players.
The Business Matching session is expected to connect Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to connect with the local and regional Halal industry players.
The BruHas Halal Clinic is an open and interactive session for the public to enquire and seek advice on subjects related to Halal applications, guidelines and standards, and Halal investments and analysis.
MEMI’s partner for this year’s BruHas include Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA), the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT), the Ministry of Health (MOH), Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) and Laksamana College of Business (LCB).
