The long wait is over as Relentless Entertainment is back on stage for its seventh season with Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
The theatrical production starring 50 talented cast members ranging from 11 – 5 years old, will bring your beloved fairy tale characters to life for two nights on September 29 and 30 at the Jerudong International School’s Arts Centre Theatre.
“This is such a great experience for everyone involved,” said Amy Cheong, founder of Relentless Entertainment. “It’s a charming and feel-good classic that has enchanted audiences around the world for decades.”
The Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella tells the story of a young woman forced into life of servitude by her evil stepmother, who dreams of a better life. With the help of the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is transformed into an elegant young lady and is able to attend the ball to meet her prince.
“It’s such a fun and exciting storyline,” Amy said. “we hope that the audience will enjoy the contemporary take on Cinderella.”
“It features all the excitement and interactive elements and also twists and turns to keep the audience on the edge of their seats,” she added.
The musical features Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs such as “In My Own Little Corner”, “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago”.
Bolstered by a talented cast and quality production values, Cinderella has something to offer for everyone of all ages.
The production runs at the Arts Centre Theatre, Jerudong International School, on September 29 and 30 with performances on Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 1:30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced from $25- $45 and are available at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Time Square, Supa Save Mata-Mata, Centrepoint and Supa Save Seria branches. It would also be available at Yippy Tune Music School.
