Newly branded since January 2019 under Bina Puri Holdings Bhd, the residences is a gated compound with five acres of land comprising of three mid-rise blocks overlooking city views.

Assistant Resident Manager Lucy Ngien Teck Hui said there are 72 apartments altogether where all units are identical and approximately 3,050 sq ft.

With a fitness centre, swimming pool, jogging track, children’s playground and an outdoor function space equipped with a BBQ stand, 24-hour security and newly opened E’Trigue Café & Lounge, the three-bedroom apartment exemplifies luxury and carefree convenience.

Moreover, Rimbun Suites & Residences accommodates both long term and short term stays. 

Currently, the long-term occupancy rate is at 80 per cent whereas 10 unit Suites cater to short term stays.

The apartment

Each apartment or suite can accommodate five to seven pax and is inclusive of complimentary airport transfer, unlimited high-speed internet/wifi and breakfast buffet.

Tenants will additionally be provided with services such as repair and maintenance, housekeeping, a storage room, additional guest toilet and one outdoor parking lot. 

The amenities

Guests can enjoy the apartment that is fully air-conditioned with a living area equipped with a 42-inch LCD TV and international satellite TV-box (EVPAD).

What’s even better, the dining and kitchen areas are equipped with guest amenities such as 3in1 coffee, tea and water bottles and a hot and cold water purifier dispenser.

The dry kitchen is provided with dining plates, bowls, mugs, drinking glasses, a cooking gas stove, a frying pan, cooking pot, spatula, cooking knife and cutting board. 

A wet kitchen can be found just outside equipped with an additional gas cooking stove, washing machine as well as drying rack. 

The bathrooms are furnished with bath and hand towel sets along with toiletries such as body soap, shampoo, hand soap, body lotion, shower caps and cotton buds.

For guests’ extra comfort and convenience, the establishment also provides a hair dryer, iron and ironing board in its apartment units – so that is something you do not have to worry about.

“All the necessities are ready and will make you feel like you’re at home,” Lucy added.

Stay at ease

With the outbreak of COVID-19 in the sultanate, the safety of its tenants and guest have become the priority of Rimbun Suites & Residences.

To ensure their safety, the management implemented precautionary measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Each staff is certified with an online course on ‘Let’s Break the Chain of COVID-19 Infection’ with Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) of Dubai.

The course, which is part of the MBRU Community Immunity Ambassador Programme, entails the staff to practise minimising human contact, social distancing at least one metre apart, wear masks, regular use of hand sanitisers and regular temperature checks. 

“In terms of housekeeping, the staff limit their contact with tenants and are to only change linens and towels,” said the assistant resident manager.

Cleaning is carried out daily from the lobby of each block including the lifts, swimming pool and fitness centre.  

While doing so, the housekeepers are to wear masks and gloves the entire time and use hand sanitisers when necessary. 

Due to the outbreak, the swimming pool and fitness centre are closed for the time being, while the café is open for takeaway services only.

“Normally, tenants and guests would hold events or parties at the cafe and swimming pool area to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries. But for safety measures they have to remain closed,” said Lucy, hoping the current outbreak situation to improve so they can help customers plan to celebrate important milestones again.

To further limit contact, tenants and guests can order food through an in-house app and once completed, their orders will be delivered to their doorstep.

“Tenants and guests do not have to worry as we’ve made sure their safety comes first and therefore we welcome short term stays during this period,” said Lucy.
