Some 40 students from Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam (Pusat Ehsan) and their guardians were treated to a scrumptious sungkai at Roti Culture Cafe in Batu Bersurat in a bid to spread the generosity and blessings this Ramadhan season.

Prior to breaking fast, the eatery’s founder Wu Chun expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the association, hoping that the small gesture made the special guests feel happy.

“A small act of kindness has a ripple effect that changes people’s lives. One smile can be contagious and I really think that this Ramadhan season is a reminder that we should be grateful for the good things we have and a reminder that it is also a great time for families and people to reflect, gather and celebrate,” he said.

Also present at the sungkai reception was Pusat Ehsan’s Administration Head Nurul Huda Hj Muhin who in her remarks extended her gratitude to Wu Chun and Roti Culture for the continuous support and contribution towards the centre.

Pusat Ehsan also shared that with the community’s support they can help more disadvantaged children and families to get access to education, protection, health, and to improve the livelihood.
