Royal Brunei Airlines partners with Air India to Mumbai

Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) recently announced its latest daily codeshare flight with Air India Limited (AI) to Mumbai via Singapore effective November 30.

The national carrier will be operating the route between Bandar Seri Begawan and Singapore before continuing the second leg of the trip to the Indian city from Singapore with its new code share partner AI.

RB Chief Executive Officer Karam Chand said that the airline is pleased to partner with AI to provide its guests with more destination choices.

“RB and AI codeshare flights offer the best connection to Mumbai and vice versa. We believe (this) will further enhance the tourism and business links between the two countries,” he said.

Sharing the same sentiment, AI Chairman and Managing Director Pradeep Singh Kharola said that the partnership allows their network expansion and offers wider connectivity to their esteemed passengers.

“This partnership launches AI’s first service into Bandar Seri Begawan, offering connectivity to our guests travelling between India and Brunei,” said Singh.

AI which is a member of Star Alliance has a network of 44 international destinations across the USA, Europe, Far-East, Southeast Asia, Australia and the Gulf countries.

The airline and its subsidiaries today fly one of the youngest state-of-the-art fleet of aircraft comprising of widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliners, B777s, B747s and the narrow body Airbus A321s, A320s, A319s B737s and ATRs.
