The Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has finally kicked off its inaugural Seasons Fair: Family Fun at OneCity Shopping Mall.

In his opening remarks, the President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce BSB Malcolm Lim said that the association is planning to conduct the fair four times a year following the seasons’ Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

“The reason why we conducted Seasons Fair: Family Fun is for families all over the country to gather and enjoy themselves with the activities available during the expo,” he said.

“At the same time, we are taking the opportunity to provide vendors with a platform to showcase and promote their products so they could get more brand exposure,” he further added.

The event kicked off with an official launch by the Minister of Home Affairs YB Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Awg Abu Bakar Hj Apong as the guest of honour.

The five-day event which runs until 20 June from 10am to 10pm offers a wide range of family-themed products and services.

Also attending the expo is local non-government organisation (NGO) La Vida showcasing their wide variety of beautiful handcrafted clothes, toys and many more to raise funds for the underprivileged.

Among those participating in the event were Natasha Veronica Jewellery, BruPhar, Poni Divers, Findlay, Home Suite Home Co and many more.

The fair will also be bringing together numerous displays of family-fun activities including a Kids Colouring Contest, Fries Eating Competition, Lucky Draw and more

Visitors will also have the opportunity to master and learn the craft of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting.

On top of that, customers who spend more than $5 at the Seasons Fair are also entitled to participate in the lucky draw and will stand a chance to win exciting prizes worth $3,500.

Also in attendance were Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank Ti Eng Hui, Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin, YB Ong Tiong Oh and other committee members of the Chinese Chambers of Commerce.
