The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) recently gathered businesses from key sectors to talk about the importance of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
The event which was held under a partnership with Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) saw the attendance of various representatives from the construction and ICT as well as the oil and gas industries.
Besides promoting HSE, the event also served to provide greater understanding of SHENA as Brunei’s main HSE regulator.
SHENA previously hosted a number of forums to further promote HSE to businesses and the public before arriving to the latest event hosted at the Design & Technology Building at Kg Anggerek Desa.
It is a statutory body set up under the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority Order 2018 and enforced on April 1, 2017. It regulates all matters pertaining to workplace safety and health, environment and radiation in the sultanate.
