Singapore contributed a total of 100,000 doses of the Moderna to Brunei Darussalam on Thursday, reflecting the special relations and continuous support between both countries in combating COVID-19.

The vaccines were received by Minister of Health, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Md Isham bin Haji Jaafar and High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore in Brunei Darussalam, Heng Aik Yeow at the Brunei International Air Cargo Center (BIACC).

Also present at the BIACC were Permanent Secretary at MoH, Haji Maswadi Haji Mohsin; Deputy High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore, Raymond Chow; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional), Dr Haji Zulaidi Haji Abd. Latif; Acting Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Hajah Zanatul Aini Haji Zainin as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Health and the High Commission of the Republic of Singapore.
