Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) is proud and honoured that the state-of-the-art Sultan Ibrahim Stadium will host Malaysia’s first Spartan Stadion on 3 and 4 September 2021.

Officiated in February 2020, the iconic Home of the Southern Tigers is proving its charm with the Stadium of the Year award by StadiumDB.com, further enhancing the JDT brand internationally.

The JDT home is set to be among a select few stadiums around the world to host the internationally renowned Spartan Stadion in Q3 of 2021.

It truly demonstrates JDT’s ability to attract interest and collaborations with international brands. Among the other international brands associated with JDT include UNICEF, NIKE, HUBLOT, SWAG Electric Vehicle and Subway.

Associaton with international brands further expands JDT’s brand value and exposure globally, and this translates to a revenue through sponsorships because the bigger the JDT brand, the bigger the return on investment for sponsors.

JDT’s amazing reach through social media — among the best in Southeast Asia — also provides international brands more eyeballs.

The Southern Tigers are setting a good example to the other clubs in the region on how a progressive management with a clear vision can help grow a brand internationally. Remarkably, JDT is only eight years old.

As for the Spartan Stadion, it will appeal to a wider crowd domestically and internationally.

While international participation is subject to the Covid-19 situation, it will nevertheless bring JDT more international  exposure and further emphasise the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium’s location on the world map.
