Some fifty students from Nakhoda Abdul Rashid Primary School Kampong Menunggol toured the head office of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) in the capital recently.
Accompanied by their teachers, the students were briefed by BIBD representatives on financial planning at an early age.
The group also toured the BIBD Connects outlet in Lambak and the BIBD Nexgen branch at The Mall Gadong.
The tour ended with a fun-filled afternoon of games at Fun Blocks Edutainment at Hua Ho Manggis Mall.
The educational visit was part of BIBD’s commitment towards fostering stronger relations with the Bruneian community.
Nakhoda Abdul Rashid Primary School was recently selected for BIBD TIFFIN pilot project, a collaborative effort between the bank and the Ministry of Education to enhance public awareness on healthy eating habits.
