Standard Chartered Bank (SC) treated some 20 orphans to a delightful sungkai get-together at McDonald’s Gadong recently.
On hand to meet the orphans and their guardians was the bank’s chief executive officer Pengiran Aki Ismasufian Pengiran Hj Ibrahim alongside other senior management and staff at SC.
“Alhamdulillah, in the spirit of Ramadan we would like to remember all members of the community especially those who are more vulnerable to societal gaps. We are grateful to be able to bring some joy and smiles to them,” he said, who then handed out new sets of school stationery to each orphan.
SC is committed to promoting economic and social development in the markets it operates in, doing so sustainably and equitably in line with our purpose of driving commerce and prosperity through its unique diversity.
