“Due to the country’s (Iran) central location, the scope of Iran’s cuisine is much wider than you think,” said General Manager of Royal Brunei Catering, Hj Jeff Hadiman Dato Paduka Hj Danial during his opening remarks.

Having close ties with Europe, the Far East and Africa, Persian cuisine, Hj Jeff added, is a melting pot that has a variety of influences, from Middle Eastern, Turkish, Russian and even the Mediterranean which culminates to a “fruit, herb and spice-filled culinary experience”.
