Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) recently celebrated its long serving retirees, personnel’s children and current staff members in an appreciation ceremony.
A total of 23 individuals received their tokens of appreciaton at the event held at Star Lodge Hotel as part of the company’s ongoing programme to recognise its human resource.
Some of the retired members are those who has served TelBru for as long as 42 years and they each received gifts and certificates from its CEO David Holliday.
Moreover, nine students received $500 each for achieving excellent results for the PSR examination under TelBru’s Academic Student Awards.
In a statement from TelBru, the recognition of the company’s children is part and parcel of its commitment towards encouraging life-long learning among not just staff but also their families.
In line with the company’s branding campaign, two staff members were also rewarded for their role in upholding the company’s image by participating TelBru Vehicle Cleanliness Competition.
The competition which was initiated in July is a year-long effort expected to witness more awardees over the next few months.
