If you’re wondering about that building that is yet to be opened whenever you passed by Jalan Telanai, that would be ‘The Box’ – a vibrant lifestyle commercial space set to be the nation’s largest container-based establishment upon its launch later this year.
A centre that gathers lifestyle entrepreneurs
As compact as it may seem, the new commercial centre capable of accommodating more than 60 businesses is not restricted solely to cafes and restaurants, as it had previously invited entrepreneurs across industries to become its tenants.
A representative from the developer also shared that businesses featured in the building may span from arts and handicrafts to fashion and boutiques as well as prints and stationery. There were also plans to rent spaces out for people to host various kind of exhibition and galleries.
With tenants currently in the process of setting up their outlets, people can already expect the place to be packed with homegrown brands upon its launch – soon.
The state-of-the-art structure blended with stints of playfulness were meant to paint a vibrant vibe that complements meaningful performances that may come from the creative sides of the population.
At the heart of The Box is a mini-stage that could be viewed from all four corners of the building which may be used especially by the creatives to host musicals, stand-up comedies, poetry reading sessions or any other kinds of performances.
Alongside the stage, there will also be a number of large television sets to accommodate those who wanted to watch important sporting events with their friends.
Additionally, the props were also designed to allow mini-light performances – something that is still quite rare in Brunei despite being highly popular overseas.
Affordable rates for businesses
Rental rates for The Box begins at $800 monthly and tops at $2,000 a month, and they cover the maintenance of the entire building which also includes payments for pest control and security services.
The 19,864 square feet facility developed by HAHD Group of companies and managed by creative and marketing partner Mixmediawork (MMW) is also packed with 190 parking spaces for both clients and businesses.
Those who are interested can choose from four unit sizes – 2.4 m x 3.1 m, 3 m x 2.4 m, 3 m x 4.8 m and 2.4 m x 6 m. All of them are spread across the two-storey building in a mostly rectangular manner.
Interested parties can also find out more about The Box via its website or directly contact the establishment via firstname.lastname@example.org and +673713 3343.
