Brunei’s own celebrity and entrepreneur Wu Chun kick started the new year with two new endorsements in Shanghai – Lego and Sea Life Trust.
He was appointed as Lego ambassador and the toy brand also created Lego figures of his family at the Lego Mini Kingdom of Shanghai Legoland Discovery Centre.
Wu Chun, feeling content, said that he would usually play Lego with his children Nei Nei and Max when at home.
At the centre, the father of two had the opportunity to tour the facility that showcases amusing creative activities suitable to be enjoyed by parents and their children.
Moreover, Wu Chun was also recently appointed as the ambassador of ocean protection by the charitable organisation Sea Life Trust.
“It is an opportunity that I greatly value and part of this campaign includes releasing two white whales into the waters of Iceland,” he said.
The mammals will be transported by air, land and sea on a 90,000 kilometre journey from Shanghai to the southern coast of Iceland.
“It’s very important to do everything we can as human beings to conserve and protect the ocean because a clean ocean is imperative for the enjoyment of generations to come,” he said.
He also hoped to inspire many with the beauty and enjoyment of what people can do in earth’s natural environment, raising awareness and promoting ways to protect it.
“I am happy that Brunei is actively participating in campaigns to warn more people on the dangers of plastics and to stop plastic pollution in the country,” Wu Chun said.
