A creative fair showcasing arts, photography, entrepreneurship and sports by young local talents is slated to enliven the Taman Budiman Skate Park in Berakas from September 15-16

Co-organised by Caffe Bene, Kaleidoscope Studio and Uneek Skateshop, ‘Caffe x Youth’ serves as a platform for the Bruneian Youths to express their talents and skills.

“We want to encourage the youth to step out of their comfort zone and be in the outdoors. It is an event run by youth for the youth,” said the public relation officer of Kaleidoscope Studio, Wan Yuri Wajihah, adding that the event will also serve as an avenue for the youth to turn their hobbies into businesses.

Some of the activities that members of the public are expected to enjoy throughout the fair include pallet painting, graffiti art, polaroid photography, coffee art, skateboarding and OOTD competitions.

There are also exciting prizes to be won courtesy of Caffe Bene, Uneek Skateshop, Oblimaq, DST, Rose Photo Studio and Redbull.

Several vendors will also participate in the pop-up sale during the fair.

On the final day of the fair, the public can also take part in a six-kilometre NRF Fun Run and Cycle. The route will start from the capital at the Bandarku Ceria event and end at Taman Budiman Skate Park.

Organised for the second time by New Resolutions Fest, the fun run and cycling event gives an opportunity for families to get together while enjoying their quality time passing through a pathway consisting some of Brunei’s historical monuments.

“The marathon is open to those who want to walk, jog, run, cycle, skateboard and evern rollerblade. On top of that we are excited to announce that we will be having the first 6km photo walk,” said Wan Yuri.
